Absolutely love it tired of engine shutting off at red light then pressing override button. This put a stop to that ! Eliminates the possibility of premature starter replacement.
And other stop start issues with an engine.

I recently got a 2025 Subaru XT Touring, my sixth Outback. Great car except for the auto stop start which I believe shortens engine life. Easy to install after watching the excellent installation video, took 15 minutes including a coffee break.

Two tips for installation- place cable tie so it fits in groove of metal support seen just to the right of where cable tie is placed on video. This channel will prevent any side to side slippage of cable and the autostop module. When reinstalling do front first by aligning 2 plastic points on each side of faceplate to each receptacle hole above- when each aligned push up, the rear will follow for easy install of the 4 clips.
This is a great device and works flawlessly. Highly recommended!

Worked great, however the instructions didn’t match up to my 2024 Sierra 1500 AT4. Quick YouTube search and I found infotainment screen removal instruction, which were very easy. 10 minute job!

Buy the AE module, watch the installation video, and rid your Outback of that pesky auto stop in less than 15 minutes! The new “sticky” functionality is perfect—the way it should have been from the factory.

It took me all of five minutes to install it in my 2024 Subaru Outback and it did exactly what it was supposed to do. I’d highly recommend this to anyone who hates their car turning off at stop lights.

I should have bought this gadget years ago. A.S.S. always being on when I start my car no matter what I had it set on when I turned it off has been a minor annoyance for many years. Now that I don't have to think about it anymore I have to say the convenience is worth the price. A.S.S. is awful and the fact that some cars wouldn't remember your settings is a crime against humanity.

The install was quick and easy and it works great.
