Wonderful fix

Autostop was my only real complaint about my Outback. I wish I knew about the Autostop Eliminator sooner.

Best money I ever spent

Bought my 2022 Outback and immediately hated the auto stop on the car, as I'd always forget to turn it off every time I got in the car. This changes the whole car's personality!!!

Autostop is now STOPPED!

According to my Subaru dealer, their most common request is to disable the autostop feature. As I found out, it is not only a major annoyance, but it can leave you stranded!

The batteries used in modern cars can sometimes fail with virtually no warning. I had just left the grocery store and stopped in the turn lane at a very busy intersection light. The engine went into autostop and the entire instrument and entertainment panels went black. I tried to restart the car....nothing. The light turned green and I was the first car in line. Not good.

I got a jump start, turned off the autostop and drove home. After dropping off my wife, I drove straight to AutoZone where they replaced the dead battery under warranty. The next day I took the car to Subaru to have give the car a quick check and turn off some warning lights. That's when they told me about Autostop Eliminator. I ordered my module the same day!

Now, I get in the car, start it, and drive away. No more remembering to turn off the autostop. It is now off until I choose to turn it back on, which will be NEVER!
