I figured, like any project I do, will be a lot more difficult than the directions or how-to videos show. I figured that I would be in a fight with my console and panel where the buttons are located (2022 For Edge Titanium) Surprisingly, I had the side panels and cover undone in less than 30 seconds. The most difficult part for me was finding and depressing the little lock tab in the plug connector. I ended up just looking at the adapter that I received from here, and saw the tab. Reached in, pressed the locking tab, bingo. Plugged in the Autostop Eliminator harness, tested it before butting things back up. Autostop stayed disabled! Bravo! Tucked in the harness and snapped everything back together. It's been working flawlessly since the install last week. If it wasn't for me fiddling with the plug locking tab, the job literally would have taken me 5 minutes. So 10 minutes total including fiddling. This product is worth every penny. My OCD no longer itches because of the stupid factory-forced autostop feature. I've attached a photo showing the plug before unplugging the factory connector. You can easily see the tab. Hopefully this helps you locate it first thing.

I have a 2022 Ford edge ST 31,000 miles on it and it’s on its third battery, even though I try to shut off the auto stop start every starting event. While the manufacturer and dealer will tell you, the cars is designed with the auto stop, start active, you can’t tell me stop in and start a car 10 to 15 times in an 8 mile commute has no effect on the longevity of the car.
I looked him too, having it shut off permanently in the programming, but in my research I came across this. When they tell you, it’s a 10 minute install it actually is, probably less. Works perfectly every single time, best 99 bucks I’ve spent.

This was a pretty simple install after watching the YouTube video. I was able to find a discount code as well. I love when products do exactly what they say. They are supposed to do. Wish I would’ve done this earlier.
