Works great but….

Word of caution…. The installation is NOT how described in the video. It was extremely difficult to find the module. It’s not just right there when you pull the dash off. You have to search for it and then when you do find getting to it is a whole other challenge. 100 % agree with the other review regarding the install.
Don’t expect it to be like the video shown.

We literally recorded ourselves installing it, so the process matches exactly. What thows people off is the angle of the camera, That's the only angle we could find to actually show the install, but yes, sometimes people's perception of the video is that the gateway module is lower than it actually is. I wouldn't want people to think our video isn't correct, because it's 100% accurate. Perhaps it just needs more context so folks get a better idea of the location of the gateway module.

2022 Compass

Although my Compass is a 2022, the autostop eliminator for the 2019-2021 model works great. Doesn’t allow you to turn the auto stop feature back on but who cares. I want it permanently off anyway. Thanks for the great product and solution to an annoying problem.

It works great, BUT installation is a b*tch

It works as advertised, but finding and unplugging the security gateway module is an act of contortion that will challenge the physical and mental limits of most people. I’m a fit and fairly flexible athlete in my late 20s and I was not prepared for this.

Finding the plug involved sliding headfirst and backwards underneath the dashboard with face next to the brake pedal, my back on the door sill, and my feet on the ground (facing away from the car). In the video it looks easy to find, but for reference that video was taken with the camera on the floor looking straight up under the dash. Once I located the plug, I worked by feel, needing on the ground, to unplug the harness and insert the AutoStop Eliminator. Zip tying it was also very difficult, since I could only get one hand up in there because of the awkward angle.

I’m happy with the end result, but I was not expecting to get sweaty and pull a muscle in my back getting it installed. I’m giving it 4 stars because the installation video is deceptive marketing.

Love it!

I have a 2022 jeep compass, so this model doesn't work with my car as advertised, but it does the job! It just doesn't have the ability to be switched off without removing completely.

I hated the auto stop, and thankfully this saved me from the giggles my car-guy fiance would hide whenever I stopped my compass at a light/sign. Then I'd shamefully push the button only to repeat the process again the next time I drove. But with this, I'm ridicule-free, at least at stop signs. Would definitely recommend to others!

Works Great!

So nice to not have to push a button or have the truck stop running all the time. Not super easy to install but works as advertised.
