  • AE022 - Requires the Reverse Automatic Braking (RAB) option. This is not the same as rear parking sensors. Please do not order this type unless you are 100% certain you have the RAB option. If your vehicle has RAB, there will be a box mounted under the left seat just like the one in the install video. (The left seat is the driver's seat in North America)
  • AE038 - Fits all North American Subaru Forester trims and options. Installs overhead behind the stereo camera similar to how the AE026 installed into previous model years.

Great Product

Took 10 minutes to install behind cameras overhead. Easy to forget about it since the engine stops doing the start stop thing. Based on reviews and common sense, seemed to be the best most reliable product available. Has to access the CAN bus somewhere, and that's a good spot to have it out of the way.

Great Solution To An Annoying Feature

this device is truly plug-in play. There are a lot of videos out there that you can see that will guide you through the installation. Mine was under my seat and I had the.RAB ON MY FORESTER AND IT TOOK ME LESS THAN THREE MINUTES TO INSTALL. SO FAR IT’S BEEN ABOUT A MONTH WITH IT AND IT’S WORKING PERFECTLY.
